Ermmm... this year raya mood has certainly gotten into us. With the wedding invitation in Melaka. And not to mention the wajib event .. he he apa lagi the open house. And also the 'majlis merisik' for my hubby's bro.



The wedding invitation got us all the way to Batu Berendam, Melaka. Push off from Subang on Sunday @ 5/11/06 at 11.30 am. As we were strolling along the KLIA_Nilai Hiway, we passed hubby brother's car. Rupanya, he's on his way to Melaka too. A seminar on sports curriculum, i think. Talk about coincidence.. So, there we were, tagging behind his car as we promised to stop at Seremban R&R for a quick chat & drink.

After that, we head off to Batu Berendam. Berpusing gak cari rumah orang kawen ni... Manataknya, Coz the map does not represent the latest road or junction or traffic lights. After the much of u-turns n kejang leher dok perati the landmarks, alhamdulillah, we arrived in one-piece.

Since this was my first experience to a Melaka wedding, well, not much difference from the others. The only thing was the food.. oucccchhhhh.. hot and spicy.. Since i was suffering a sore throat, i just took thhe gulai lemak pisang muda, ikan kering, ulam. Hubby made a big mistake by taking the gulai daging and the chicken.. It left him gulp gulp gulp with lostsa water.. he he he...

After taking pictures with the bride & groom, we zrooommm back to Selangor for another session of makan-makan. This time it was from my dearest cousin who resides in Taman Universiti Indah, Seri Kembangan. It was raining in Melaka when we push-off, midway it stops. Upon arriving to Seri Kembangan, it was raining like mad... U know-lah these days, come evening, u have like raining everywhere. In some places, siap banjir lagi tu..

We reached at my cousin's house at 5.30 pm. During this time, not many people were around. Many have left. So, it was sort of a family affair gathering. And the food, was sodapnyer... There were treating our tummy again (no mercy) with ikan bakar cecah air asam, gulai lemak nangka, ayam masak merah, cendol, kuihs and laksa. By the time i've finished the main course, the rain had stop. Told hubby that my lil bro has invited us to his house which is just 10 mins drive. (Help, i think dah tak bole masuk any food dah ni...)

So, just slightly before Maghrib, off we were to my bro's hse. Lepak until 9.30 pm. Tuan rumah punye pasal, rasa jugakla nasi dagang yang wife dia dah prepare. By the time we reached Subang Jaya, it was already 10.30 pm.

My kids lak, dek kerana penat agaknya, masing-masing dah terlelap dalam kereta. Sian gak nengok diaorang tu.. Tapi, kalau kita tak bawak jumpa sedara mare, nanti bila dah besar berselisih bahu kat jalan pun tak kenal. Betul tak?

Itu lah cerite minggu kedua beraya. minggu ketiga pun ada cerita nanti kita sambung balik la yer...
