The Lies & Deception

Yesterday, 13 July 2006, my company's name hit the newstand at one of the tabloid papers. (damn, depa ni tak de berita sensasi lain ke nak cite?). And for that i've to stay back at the office to prepare a report (of course guided by my boss la.) The report will soon reach the highest management level of the state G and not to be forgotten, the dearest press. :p

It's not that i'm against press reporting on juicy news, so called that it can help the paper to sold-out and the staff will happily get a 'durian runtuh' for year-end bonus. But, to publish the sensational/juicy story without getting the facts and figure all correct, well i think that is way way out of line already.

I mean, seriously la, that reporter should verified the sources before publishing the report. Don't just trust the informer to be 100% correct. And the way that the issue has been adrressed, well, nearly 80% does not reflect the true situation. I wouldn't want to strike off that sabotage is one of the purpose coz having to publish that story, what else are your purpose then?

OR maybe u are out of flashy/juicy news?

OR maybe your boss has instructed to find one story that could shake the nation and u'll get promoted?

Well, maybe the issue was an eye opener. but please just don't putar belit the facts. If u really want the issue to clear up, well we do have proper channel, in case u dont know. and when the proper channel get stuck somewhere, then , go ahead and print it. No hard feelings. For u to paint a diiferent picture, I think it's called FITNAH already. And if i'm not mistaken, FITNAH is one of the dosa-dosa besar.

I just got a call from my boss that we should forward an e-mail to the reporter explaining actions that the company have and will be taken based on the report issued by one of the government authority. Sighhh...

Just wondering, who sold the pics to the paper coz during the inspection, there are none rep from the press? Hantu kut?
