MY KIDS PAED DOC

Hari ni bawak baby hana pergi klinik for her neb repeat. it's been 3 days that i took her daily for the neb. bukannya tak leh admit kat spital coz company ada insurance, it's just that hubby tak suka the work 'admitted'. leceh katanya, kena ambik cuti etc..

In my opinion, senang lagi masuk spital coz there, ade docs and nurses yang monitor 24 hours, and also i don't have to take time-off from the office every 4 hours. I consider myself lucky to have a boss that is ok. Just get your work done on time (bukan bodek) and always be prepared to answer anything that are related to your work, then, there u have it ---- a happy and satisfied boss.

Anyway, the doc has been our family paed doc for 4 years (i think) and let me tell u that he is among the best paed doc in Shah Alam. Maybe for some people they felt rimas if the doc takes a little bit longer than any other docs during the consultation, but as for myself, lagila suka coz, the personal touch is there and the info that he provides made me almost an expert already when it comes to medical terms. hohoho..

And also, his so called 'bilik rawatan' macam ruang tamu kat rumah. Complete with sofa set (where the patient sits) , aquarium, coffee table (penuh ngan interaktif toys, mostly sesame street and blocks) , carpet. (nasib baik tak de coffee maker, kalau tak lagi lama la dalam bilik tu agaknya..) , and furthermore his clinic ade small playland area, a reading section and also room for breastfeeding. When I asked the doc, konsep apa yang diguna pakai ni, he just simply said that memang his dream nak buat a friendly atmosphere concept whereby the patients don't feel that they are in a clinic.. well, it's true what he said coz my kids, bila cakap aje kat diaorang nak gi klinik bawak baby hana, cepat aje diaorang kata nak ikut pergi doktor yang ada toys tu..

Today, his nurse aide dok cerita that before 9 am, there are almost 10 patients waiting outside (macam bank lak pulak). But, then again, it's worth the waiting (gamaknya kalau doktor biasa la tu, dah lama gi cari klinik lain kot.. ), as for me, i usually call first, tanya the best time to come, if not, alamatnye berjam la tunggu. tapi tadi masa sampai, walaupun cuma tinggal 3 patient, tapi dekat sejam jugak baru setel semuanya.

So, i guess this n3 is sort of a tribute to our paed doc - Dr Amdan Ahmad. Well done.
